The Artificial intelligence in translation – the changing role of translators, data management, ethics event is organised as part of DG Translation’s #TranslatingEurope workshops. The workshop will take place on 8 April at 9:00 CET, in Budapest, Hungary

The Translating Europe project was launched in 2014 and brings together stakeholders from universities, particularly those in the European Masters’ in Translation Network, the language industry, national language institutes, public sector translation services in Member states and professional associations. 

The project aims to link public and private translation stakeholders together and to give visibility to the role of translation and the translation profession. 

The event will also form part of ELTE’s annual spring conference, on 7-8 April, under the title ‘Reconceptualizing the role of the translator and interpreter in the digital age’.
