DIGITAL Europe Programme 7th Call on Advanced Digital Skills: Info Day & pitching event
On 5 July 2024, the European Commission presented the 7th round of DIGITAL Europe Programme calls for proposal in a dedicated Info Day and Pitching Event.
The Digital Europe Programme is advancing digital skills through Master’s programmes and self-standing modules focusing on key digital areas.
A new round of DIGITAL calls for proposals to develop advanced digital skills through bachelor’s, master's and doctoral programmes and related stand-alone modules focusing on key digital areas is opening soon! The 2024 call provides funding for education programmes in key digital areas: virtual worlds, edge computing, quantum computing, photonics, and robotics and automatization, for interdisciplinary programmes targeted at the acquisition of advanced green digital skills in the specific sectors related to the green transition: agriculture, transport, renewable energy and waste management as well as for the acquisition of advanced digital skills for the government and public sector.
The objective of the call for this topic is to support excellence in higher education institutions, making them world leaders in training the digital specialists of the future and to increase the capacity of the educational offer in the area of advanced digital skills. This should lead to the development of dynamic digital educational ecosystems where higher education institutions as well as innovative partners from industry and research work together to attract and retain the best talents worldwide.
The European Commission will open the new Call for proposals on Advanced Digital Skills on 4 July, with a total budget of 55 million EUR. Find more information about the new call on the official Funding and Tender Portal.
