LEARNTEC 2026 – “Digital Learning meets AI” Trade Fair
From May 5 to 7, 2026, the e-learning community will gather at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center for LEARNTEC, Europe's trade fair for digital education in schools, universities, and the workplace. The event combines a trade fair and a congress and is aimed at education professionals, decision-makers from the business and public sectors, and providers of digital education solutions.
Focus on digital learning technologies
LEARNTEC focuses on IT-supported learning methods, technologies, and best practices for lifelong learning. The topics range from mobile learning, learning nuggets, and gamification to virtual reality, metaverse applications, and artificial intelligence. The trade fair shows how digital education is increasingly becoming part of holistic education concepts and how technology-supported learning can be integrated into education and business processes.
Innovation, AI and Learning Analytics: Digital Learning Meets AI
Around 400 exhibitors will present the latest developments in AI, extended reality (XR), and learning analytics. Among other things, immersive learning environments, AI-supported learning platforms, and approaches to evaluating digital continuing education will be on display. Learning analytics serve as the basis for more individualized learning paths. Gamification concepts and new formats for recruiting and continuing education are also part of the trade fair offering.
Congress: Practice, research and framework conditions
The accompanying LEARNTEC Congress addresses key challenges facing the e-learning industry. Experts discuss best practices, research findings, and the legal and political framework conditions for digital education. Topics include the Accessibility Enhancement Act, data protection, AI use, compliance, learning management systems, content curation, and learning ecosystems. The congress thus links the future prospects of the digital education market with the solutions presented at the trade fair.
