The Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) serves as a hub where academic studies and professional pursuits converge, emphasizing lifelong learning in France. Led by President Professor Bénédicte Fauvarque-Cosson, appointed by the President of France, the institution has three key objectives: offering lifelong learning opportunities, fostering technological research and innovation, and disseminating scientific and technical knowledge. Collaborating closely with companies and professional organizations, Cnam tailors its study programs to meet their needs and those of their employees. Established in 1794 in Paris, Cnam has expanded nationally and internationally, with 20 centers across France and overseas and numerous global partnerships. Its staff, comprising permanent and visiting members, includes over 550 full-time professors, nearly 2,000 part-time professors, and over 1,100 administrative personnel.
