Joining ERASMUS+ and Horizon Europe proposals, related to Digital Skills

Dear Colleagues.

SEIT has extensive experience in applying ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) to Education, in the area of Technology Enhanced Learning (e-learning, m-learning, Open & Distance Learning, etc). Please note that Digital Transformation (e.g. development of digital educational ecosystems, enhancing digital skills and competencies, etc.) is now a priority area in the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme but also the main theme in a number of calls in Horizon Europe.

SEIT has a long and extensive experience in the Erasmus+ programme. In the previous Erasmus+ programme 2014-2020, we participated or are currently participating in close to 50 projects, either as coordinators or partners. Our involvement goes further back to the LLP and Leonardo da Vinci programmes on vocational training. In the Framework Programme (now called Horizon), our involvement dates back to FP5 and continuously since then.

More information about SEIT can be found on the lab's web site at: http://www.cs.ucy.ac.cy/seit/ .

The Laboratory is strongly interested in participating in proposals related to the above areas of expertise. In particular, regarding the 2022 Erasmus+ call, we are interested in Key Action 2 and in particular:

• Partnerships for Cooperation

• Partnerships for Innovation (Alliances and Forward-Looking Projects)

Consequently, if you plan to submit a proposal for the 2022 calls of Erasmus+ addressing any of the above areas, I would be very interested in cooperating with you in the preparation of the proposal and contributing to it as a partner or acting as coordinator if you so wish.

Equally, we are open to cooperation in Horizon Europe calls, where our expertise is relevant.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
