WEF Future series: Cybersecurity, emerging technology and systemic risk (2020)

This Word Economic Forum's (WEF) report focuses on four representative transformative technologies that will contribute to the changing dynamics of cyberspace: ubiquitous connectivity; artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and next-generation approaches to identity and access management.
The work suggests that, while progress has been made in improving cybersecurity across the ecosystem, the increased complexity, pace, scale, and interdependence will overwhelm many current defences.
The recommendations made in this paper are far-reaching - they address a concerted effort needed from technologists, industry leadership, and the international community.
