Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA) - Badge & Challenge Programme

The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA, is an international award-winning programme that helps to develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free. The programme consists of a series of online challenges and career-enhancing badges that support the attainment of new opportunities and foster sustainable career paths. Today, more than 1 million users have taken part in the programme. 

iDEA works as an accessible and sustainable education service that can empower and connect millions across the world. iDEA badges are short interactive online modules, created in consultation with industry experts that anyone can access for free. This is why iDEA is being used as a tool to help digital inclusion and digital literacy. The digital badges are bite-sized learning modules which are accessible and do not represent formal learning environments. They are split into categories which span the core competencies of the digital world. Badges tackle a variety of technology-specific topics, such as blockchain, coding, cybersecurity, virtual reality, hacking, web development and many more.

The aim of iDEA is to help people develop skills and showcase their achievements, regardless of their age or level of knowledge. Learners will gain also industry-recognised awards (Bronze for beginners, Silver for intermediate learners, Gold for advanced). iDEA provides also an Organiser Management System, which helps learners and organisers to track records and progress of the trainings.
