AI, Ethics and Public Media - Swedish Radio
On World Radio Day 2026, the EBU explores the ethical mindset of AI at Sveriges Radio (SR). Sweden's public service radio is one of the EBU members that is at the forefront of the use of artificial intelligence. For example, SR offers a chatbot that allows audiences to ask questions about news content and receive summarized answers.
The
guest is Sweden's Radio's head of AI, Andreas Landmark, who started his career at one of SR's local stations and has worked with artificial intelligence at the Swedish news organisation Aftonbladet and the country's public broadcaster, SVT. Host: Justin Kings, Head of the EBU Academy.
