IT Security Conference “Cyberchess 2023”

The International Cyber Security Conference "Cyberchess 2023" will take place on 4-5 October in a hybrid format, offering both online and in-person participation at the premises of Radisson Blu Latvia, located at Elizabetes Street 55 in Riga. The conference is organized by CERT.LV and theLatvian Internet Associationin collaboration with theMinistry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, along with partners from Latvia and across Europe.

The conference is structured into three distinct blocks:

  • Cyberchess 2023 (#CyberChess) Central Session: This segment will center on strategic political cybersecurity matters at both the Latvian and European levels. It spans the entire day of October 4-5 and can be accessed both in person and online.
  • Technical parallel session "CyberShock (#CyberShock): Dedicated to in-depth technical exploration of cybersecurity issues, including practical demonstrations, this segment will be held on October 4 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on October 5 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is accessible through both in-person attendance and remote participation.
  • Baltic Domain Days (#BalticDomainDays): Focused on DNA security in Latvia and Europe, this segment takes place on October 4 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on October 5 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Just like the others, it can be attended either in person or remotely.

The conference is tailored for a diverse audience, including national and local authorities responsible for IT security, IT security specialists, information system auditors, IT security enthusiasts, researchers, and other stakeholders. Participation in this event is free of charge, and the working language will be English.
