On the Safer Internet Day,  DigiQ decided to organize a conference (especially) for young people on how their generation uses the digital space. Both the title of the conference and its content focused on security incyberspace.

About Safer Internet Day

SID is the abbreviation for Safer Internet Day, which falls on the second day of February each year. Various events, workshops and initiatives are taking place in countries around the world to build awareness of a responsible and safe online environment. It is young people who spend a large part of their lives online. The internet offers them the opportunity to connect with friends, entertainment and education.

About the conference

Many specialists were interviewed to visitors on various topics. This edition of the conference focused mainly on gaming, responsible influencer, artificial intelligence, data work, online hate, and many more. However, the whole conference took place in an informal spirit to make it as accessible as possible to young people and to make real recommendations on how to spend time in the online space more securely.

The conference took place on Monday 27 February 2023 at the Aurelium Utility Centre in Bratislava  from 8.30 to 14:30. Although the primary target group was young people, the conference was also attended by parents, teachers and youth workers.
