RL:EU Conference: Digital Upskilling for Libraries in Europe

Event location
National Archive of Torre do Tombo, Alameda da Universidade, 1649-010 Lisbon, Portugal

On April 10, 2024, the RL:EU Conference: Digital Upskilling for Libraries in Europe will be taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference will be in a hybrid format, and will gather library professionals from across Europe to present resources, frameworks, and projects on digital upskilling for public libraries.

About RL:EU

Resourcing Libraries: connecting libraries to EU resources” (RL:EU) is an Erasmus+ funded project which aims to help Europe’s public libraries unlock EU resources to support their adult education programmes and strategies. This project brings together Public Libraries 2030, EBLIDA, and PiNA to develop an approach that helps public libraries and librarians learn about EU initiatives and programmes and access EU funding.

As public libraries are the first port of call for many adult learners, this project aims to help develop libraries’ capacities to be forward-looking adult education learning centres. The project partners support public libraries by organising webinar series, mentoring and group coaching, as well as through the development of a training methodology, a workbook, a collection of good practices, and policy recommendations for EU funding of public libraries.
