Webinar “Inclusive school: The role of experiential learning”

The Institute of General and Special Education Studies & Research of Greece, following its work on the inclusive education of students with special educational needs and disabilities and as part of the scientific actions for the training and professional empowerment of colleagues in education, co-organises a webinar on Inclusive school: The role of experiential learning. The 4-hour seminar will take place online via the ZOOM platform on Saturday 27 May 2023, hours: 9:30-14:00.

Aim and objectives

The aim this seminar is to focus, through experiential learning, on effective communication and emotional intelligence as important factors in inclusive education. The importance of interdisciplinarity will also be highlighted in the inclusion, on the basis of educational material prepared by IMEGEE, of the European programme I AM Inclusive Education using Animation and Multimedia.

The 4-hour training course will be held entirely remotely for all EEP members and teachers. It will include short theoretical contributions on interdisciplinary cooperation, diversity as well as inclusion practices, based on experiential learning. At the same time, participants in small groups will be able to interact.
