Workshops for teachers | Education, Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT

Event location
Innovathens ισόγειο, Τεχνόπολη Δήμου Αθηναίων, Greece

In recent years, technology has all been in contact with Artificial Intelligence. But how can these modern “tools” be used in the classroom? If you are a teacher and want to know the emerging technologies that promise to improve teaching, we look forward to you in the ASF23 workshop: Education, Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT!

In this year's Athens Science Festival, workshops for teachers will be held on Wednesday 11 October in the afternoon to discover and discuss the challenges and benefits arising from the entry of Artificial Intelligence into education.

The Athena Research Centre organises an experiential workshop aimed at familiarising teachers with new technologies, based on the results of the AI4Edu project (ERASMUS-LS). It will be possible to interact with an interactive assistant to discover how it can contribute to different tasks, making the work of a teacher more effective. ChatGPT | 17.00 – 18.50

How can Artificial Intelligence lead to a learning model that focuses on learners’ specific needs? What is the link between chocolate and all of them? In a unique workshop, we will get to know the European augMENTOR programme, which aims to improve the educational process through the use of modern technologies.  Chocolate and Artificial Intelligence | 19.00 – 20.20

Finally, there will be an opportunity to participate in a dialogue panel on the challenges posed by the introduction of new technologies in both the educational process and our daily lives. How will teachers be able to recommend young people in the digital world and introduce them into this new reality? The event “shaped your future” will take place on 10-12 October in the Artinopolis Municipality of Athens.
