Digital skills in inclusion
The digitalisation of the various activities we carry out on our day to day is evolving exponentially and many steps that took us all a morning before, we can manage them with a single click.
The changing landscape of human resources in the digital age
And in this context of changes due to digital transformation, the human resources sector is not extraneous. Those who devote ourselves to people, see how candidates no longer physically bring their CVs closer to temporary work agencies or consultancies; because they can already do so from home by registering on specialised portals, reviewing vacancies and applying with a mobile, computer or tablet. Skills such as proximity, comfort and autonomy are those that we are developing in this regard.
But there is a group of people who have the most difficult access to new technologies and are those at risk of social exclusion, and their situation makes their full inclusion in society even more difficult.
While there are digital applications known to the whole population, others are unknown. In our daily lives, people who do not have or do not know an email, who do not know how to apply for and download their working lives, register on a website or access the Nortempo Group job portal, Talentum, come to our offices. These circumstances mean that they are unable to access much of the offers on the labour market and therefore to real social and labour market inclusion.
Empowering through Digital Skills
Therefore, when a person comes to the Nortempo Foundation, we assess their employability, not only in terms of education, experience and interests; instead, we analyse the level of digital skills you have and based on the outcomes, we work on your learning.
We help you create an email, check the offers on the different portals or how to register your CV, and we understand that we need to be digitally proactive and interact with the platforms, emphasising the need to keep our application up to date and check new offers every day.
The result of working autonomously with different applications, platforms, websites... will mean that we are no longer afraid of the unknown, we are more curious, aware of the convenience of using them and thus developing our digital skills.
With all this advice, we create a link with people in such a way that we are their reference on the road to employment, accompanying them at every moment and in every need they have in order to achieve this.
