Excel is certainly one of the most popular tools for data analysis and visualisation. It now has capabilities that allow for deeper data analysis, better visualisations, and more complex business logics. In this course designed by Microsoft a specialist from the Microsoft Excel Product Team will introduce you to the most recent iterations of these new features in this data science course.
Who is this course for?
Take this course to learn how to combine data from many sources, prepare data for analysis, and import data from various sources. You will learn also how to use the DAX calculation engine to express business calculations once the data has been prepared and how to display the data and share it with the Power BI cloud service so that it can be utilised in dashboards.
It takes around 6 weeks to complete the course with an effort of around 6h per week. The prerequisites are an understanding of Excel analytic tools such as tables, pivot tables and pivot charts. Also, some experience in working with data from databases and also from text files will be helpful.
