Cybersecurity Fundamentals Course - CybARverse

This framework course 'Cybersecurity Fundamentals Course' explores more sophisticated cybersecurity threats, including:

  • ransomware;
  • root malicious software,
  • deceptive IP tactics,
  • cryptocurrency theft,
  • cross-site scripts; and
  • SQL injections 

This course is part of the Erasmus+ co-funded CybARverse project, which aims to train target audiences to recognise and correctly respond to cyberattacks. The Cyberverse project includes the following partners: S.C.P. Serv Limited (Cyprus), Cyprus Computer Society (Cyprus), Tech.mt (Malta) and EOS Foundation (Romania).

The course targets the following audiences:

  • IT professionals with basic cybersecurity knowledge.
  • Students who have basic cybersecurity skills and want to improve them.

The duration of self-study is about 8 hours. Each topic contains a detailed lesson plan so that participants can practically demonstrate or explain these attacks. After passing the final test, a certificate of completion of the course is automatically issued.
