Cybersecurity Elementary Course - CybARverse

This free online course 'Cybersecurity Elementary Course' covers key cybersecurity topics for beginners – an introduction to malware, social engineering, grooming, social media threats, data phishing and IoT attacks. Each topic contains lesson plans to show and explain these threats.
This course is part of the Erasmus+ co-funded CybARverse project, which aims to train target audiences to recognise and correctly respond to cyberattacks. The Cyberverse project includes the following partners: S.C.P. Serv Limited (Cyprus), Cyprus Computer Society (Cyprus), Tech.mt (Malta) and EOS Foundation (Romania).
The course targets the following audiences:
- People who are not familiar with cybersecurity.
- entry-level IT specialists.
- Students interested in cyber security.
- Small business owners who want to protect their digital property.
- Employees who want to increase their understanding of cybersecurity.
- Professionals moving to a cybersecurity position.
- Educators who seek the most important knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.
- Anyone who wants to understand the main cyber threats and safeguards.
The course is self-paced and lasts approximately 6 hours. After passing the test at the end of the course, a certificate of completion of the course is automatically issued.
