Junior AI Developer Retraining Program

Junior AI Developer Retraining Program

The Junior AI Developer Retraining Program aims to prepare junior AI developers who are able to design, develop, and test web-based software solutions using AI, as both a development tool and a part of the application being created.

Building a strong base

During the course of study, the learner will acquire a strong base in full-stack development and practical experience in using modern development tools. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of large language models (LLMs) as part of the development process – including structured prompting, critical assessment of AI responses, and the creation of AI-based functionalities.

As a result of the training, the learner will be able to go through the entire software development lifecycle both independently and in a team, from the concept design to the completion of a functioning, tested, and documented application.

The Junior AI Developer Retraining Program (total 600 ECTS hours) is divided into two separate modules – face-to-face learning and hands-on training in a company. The program consists of training (280 ECTS hours), which takes place at the BCS Koolitus training center, and an internship at a company (320 ECTS hours).
