SME4DD - Training SMEs for the Digital Decade

The Training SMEs for the Digital Decade project (SME4DD), is an initiative by EIT, co-funded by the European Union set to provide concise training programs in three key digital technologies across Europe: artificial Intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity.
The program offers a comprehensive suite of courses tailored to distinct professional needs. For business leaders and managers, specialized courses are designed to foster innovation and facilitate business expansion. Working professionals benefit from courses that cover advanced digital skills and competencies, ensuring they stay at the forefront of industry demands.

The initiative includes intensive seminars and workshops focused on specific business cases, catering specifically to highly skilled workers from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This multifaceted approach aims to address diverse skill requirements, empowering individuals across various professional roles to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Furthermore, the content developed will be elevated to the EU level by standardizing it into a Professional Master Programme, available in English. This holistic approach seeks to create a lasting impact by equipping individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital era.
SME4DD Courses
The primary focus will be on enhancing the skills of the workforce with the following courses in France, Italy, Hungary, and Sweden:
- Blockchain for small businesses: Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). Teaching language: Hungarian and English
- Scikit-learn, a machine learning toolbox for SMEs: INRIA. Teaching language: French
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Talent Garden. Teaching language: Italian
- AI for business online: Hyper Island & EIT Digital. Teaching language: English
- AI for business onsite:Hyper Island. Teaching language: English
- Building blockchain project in SMEs: EIT Digital. Teaching language: Hungarian
- Blockchain systems engineering for SMEs: Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Teaching language: Hungarian
- Blockchain technology for SMEs - Hyperledger edition: Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Teaching language: Hungarian
- Machine learning: tech bricks for the SMEs: INRIA. Teaching language: French
These short-term training initiatives will be tailored to the specific needs of companies, with a special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The goal is to empower both men and women to proficiently design, develop, and implement digital solutions within the economy and various sectors.
