Virtual Reality Specialisation (online)

Nowadays, Virtual Reality is one of the most demanded skillsets in the digital job market. The specialisation in Virtual Reality, offered by the University of London, is divided into 5 courses to guide participants interested in discovering the fundamentals of Virtual Reality (VR), as well as the hardware, its applications and the psychology behind a successful VR interaction. The online specialisation offers an opportunity to participants to gain key skills in the field and learn from top-level lectures and industry experts. Other topics covered include: the basics of 3D graphics and object creation, as well as layout of objects in a virtual environment. Upon the end of the 5 courses, learners will be able to create and develop their own game, based on VR technology.

No prior knowledge is required to join the first course, but basic programming knowledge is needed to attend the last courses of the specialisation. The courses are self-paced, but participants who are willing to attend all the specialisation can expect to complete it in approximately 6 months, keeping a pace of 4 hours per week.
