Rebooting manufacturing industry with digitalisation skill development [REBOOT SKILLS] is to enable workers who are at present or who wish to be employed in the manufacturing sector to access advanced digital upskilling opportunities that can help them keep pace with the latest developments in Cybersecurity, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). The project, brings together a novel mix of EU education providers and professional organizations to deliver a bespoke upskilling model of advanced digital skills-based through short training course that will jointly empower workers and the manufacturing industry at this critical time for European manufacturing industry ecosystem. ActivitiesThe consortium will create and deliver a new pool of training based on responding the following objectives. Create a sustainable and collaborative training offering serving the digitalization needs of SMEs operating in key capacity areas.Facilitate access by SMEs owners, managers and employees to high-class digital training that is easily afforded in a multi-site settingTo increase the number of women and men able to design, develop and deply digital solutions in the manufacturing industry. Reboot Sills Project will deliver 35 short training course on digital technologies, co-designed by 8 education providers from Europe. Target groupREBOOT SKILLS training offering has been specifically tailored to meet the digitalization needs of this target group:SMEs operating in key capacity areasSMEs owners, managers and employeesThe Unemployed The training will be designed to be gender-sensitive, and special effort will be made to provide easy access for all genders to REBOOT SKILLS courses. Special attention will be paid to the pursuit of gender balance within the REBOOT SKILLS training staff.PartnersCoordinatorUniversity of OULU (Finland)BeneficiariesDIMECC Oy - Research and Technology Center, FinlandMADE Competence Center I4.0 Competence Center, ItalyKatholieke Universiteit Leuven University, BelgiumFlandersMAKE - Research and Technology Center, BelgiumUniversity of Limerick, University, IrelandLuleå University of Technology, University, SwedenSKILLNET IRELAND , Company, IrelandLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/reboot-skills Available courses Find all the available courses here26 November 2024Advanced Deep Learning – Vision Module published 26 November 2024Advanced Deep Learning – Foundation Module published 06 December 2024Modern Robotics – Functional safety for autonomous driving systems published Find all the available courses here Past courses 25 November 2025Design Thinking in an AI World (REBOOT) published 24 October 2025Robotics Health and Safety (MADE) - REBOOT published 20 February 2025Advanced Deep Learning: Object Picking based on CAD model and 2D Camera (REBOOT) published 24 October 2025AI in Manufacturing (MADE) - REBOOT published 07 October 2025AI in Manufacturing (MADE) - REBOOT published 25 November 2025AI in Manufacturing (MADE) - REBOOT published 25 November 2025Collaborative Robotics - Digital Assembly Assistant (REBOOT) published 05 November 2025Advanced Simulation for Mechatronics (REBOOT) published Past events 06 December 2024Modern Robotics – Hands-on introduction to cobots06 December 2024Robotics for All – G-code for Robots10 April 2025Advanced Deep Learning: Quality inspection with Vision AI11 April 2025Collaborative Robotics – Robot safety in the workspace11 April 2025Advanced Deep Learning: Generative AI in production – Running & Customizing your own LLM11 April 2025Advanced Deep Learning: Automated robotic inspection: from viewpoint optimization to AI-driven inspection11 April 2025Advanced Deep Learning: Object Picking based on CAD model and 2D Camera (train AI models with synthetic data)
