Quantum Flagship
Quantum Flagship is one of the largest research and innovation actions launched by the European Commission to focus on the development of innovative and emerging quantum technology.
The Quantum Flagship community consists of scientists, policymakers and engineers from academia and industry, as well as future users of quantum technologies. Launched in 2018 with a 10-year mandate, the initiative's main goal is to prepare the necessary grounds for the development, uptake and deployment of European quantum computing products and solutions. Quantum Flagship also contributes to improving the competitiveness of EU industry and drive global investment and research collaboration, involving more than 5000 researchers throughout Europe and beyond.
The initiative offers a wide variety of services, targeting organisations in the sector, but also any citizen interested in discovering the world of quantum technology. Training opportunities and wider educational programmes on quantum computing from throughout the EU are gathered in a dedicated and easy-to-access catalogue. Quantum Flagship also organises events throughout Europe, including training sessions, workshops, conferences and research groups and publishes the latest job opportunities in the sector. Resources and practical information on quantum computing is also available in a dedicated section on the website.
