Founded in 1958 by Mons. Gianolio and promoted today by all the companies and stakeholders of the territory, APRO Formazione has always had the goal of training young people for the world of work and the professional updating forworkers, in response to the territory and the enterprises’ needs. The consortium includes in its associates the main territorial Institutions, Companies of different sizes and branches, Trade Associations and other Institutions. APRO Formazione is the point of reference for the territory in Europe. Since 2009, APRO collaborates with European partners on mobility projects, partnerships, development and transfer of innovation in the education field, capacity building in extra European countries. APRO actively works to achieve the objectives of the Europe 2021-2027 strategy of the European Commission. The European Network of APRO covers 20 Countries with more than 50 partners, including schools, vocational training agencies, Universities, private companies, Institutions and public authorities. APRO Formazione managed successfully more than 1.500 mobilities and got the Erasmus+ VET mobility charter in 2015.
APRO Formazione holds the mobility charter excellence award for the period 2021-2024. APRO employs 107 people and can rely on hundred co-operators and consultants. Its social form and its mission identify APRO as a consortium sensitive to territory’s needs, non–profit organisation deeply connected to regional, national and European dynamics. APRO has 2 training schools in Alba and Canelli, employing 107 members of staff and 200 professionals. APRO trains more than 4000 persons per year in the following sectors: mechanics, welding and carpentry, computer science, electrotechnicians, digital graphic and communication, tourism and culinary art, hairstyling and beauty, commerce and service activities, health and human services, marketing and communication, administration and business management, design and graphics, environmental protection, safety, eco-management and foreign languages. These courses give to young people, for whom it is not always easy to find a gratifying job after the end of the school, the concrete chance to enter in the labour market as professionals in the following fields: tourism, graphic design, commerce, culinary art, social and health care assistance, computer science and many others. The courses at Apro have for years been a proven solution to ensure better social integration of vulnerable and socially marginalized groups, a concrete support to facilitate their access to the labor market. Apro organises personalized courses for disabled students. The courses are planned and conducted by qualified teachers with great experience in the sector. The students receive a real support for their integration in the workforce. Apro offers courses that represent ideal and efficient solutions for the entrance or re-entrance of unemployed adults into the workforce. APRO offers the possibility of enrolment to Lifelong Learning courses to employed people according to individual needs. They can enrol throughout the year. APRO is an accredited work service centre providing the following services for unemployed people:
- vocational guidance: interviews about skills, attitude, expectations, training and professional need analysis, set up of Individual plan of action (RdA method);
- work insertion support: draft of accompany letters and cv, preparation for work interview, support in the job search
- activation of stages and internships: identify and select job offers, employees' pre selection and selection support;
- actions of re-qualification and re-insertion of employed people at risk of exit from the labour market and/or unemployed
persons: vocational guidance, work insertion support, balance of competences; - Youth Guarantee.
