Founded in 1993, JA Romania has actively supported the Romanian education system in its transition from a curriculum-centred approach to a competence-centred approach, by providing schools nationwide with resources that facilitate access to new educations (entrepreneurial education, financial literacy, career orientation) and applied learning methods (case studies, role plays, experiments, digital-interactive resources).
Through its partnership with the Ministry of Education and in collaboration with more than 1,800 schools, JA Romania reaches every year through its programs and projects more than 290,000 students, from large cities to rural areas, with a focus on underserved communities.
