Skill Up was created in 2016 by a group of professionals with strong experience in the field of training and business consulting.

The company can count on a staff of 6 persons with consolidated skills, plus a team of 8 regular trainers / consultants / researchers.

It is headquartered in Rome and has a local unit in Pescara; it operates throughout Italy and -online- in Europe.

Skill Up holds the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification for Training and Consulting and operates in accordance with the standards required by the ISO System, with a constant review of content and processes, aiming at continuous improvement (Kaizen philosophy).

Skill Up is a member of the New European Bauhaus network and of the Pact for Skills Network.

 

Our areas of expertise are:

  1. Design, organisation and management of training projects at all levels and targeting multiple types of users, with a focus on social sustainability, women equality and gender perspective. Our main targets are:
  • young people who are building their professional identity and are entering the labour market for the first time and need to learn about a new environment, new behaviour, new tools and how to work in a team;
  • teachers and trainers, who have to face new digital challenges and update their methodological skills;
  • NEET and people in need of updating and retraining to enter the labour market;
  • people with particular difficulties in obtaining training opportunities (physically and cognitively disabled, prisoners, migrants/refugees).
  1. Development of Soft Skills, using Emotional Intelligence. We work on skills required by the labour market but usually not covered in formal education programmes (Problem Solving, Entrepreneurship Orientation, Quality Orientation, Project Management, Change Management, etc.), using innovative methods.
  2. Training events on transversal topics such as gender issues, global citizenship, social inclusion, cultural diversity, environmental awareness.
  3. Skills orientation and validation, using methods and tools inspired by the metacognitive approach.
  4. Inclusion of digital technologies in training, exploring the opportunities offered by the use of Virtual Teams and promoting Gamification.
  5. Project Management of complex projects with a focus on the following project-relevant aspects: integrated management; stakeholder coordination; time management; work management; communication and dissemination processes of project content and event organisation.

The working style and methodologies of Skill Up's training offer are based on a number of original and innovative principles, oriented towards the construction of non-standard activities, processes and products, but achieved on a tailor-made basis in accordance with personal and contextual specificities.
