Digital skills for the future
Background
At TeachSomebody, we aim to provide access to provide free online courses with certificates in areas such as programming languages, creative thinking, cloud technologies, and many more to learners who want to gain new digital skills.
Our mission is to raise awareness, create impact, and inspire adult learners through knowledge. In so doing, we hope to empower our learners and prepare them to gain the necessary skills to access sustainable careers in Information Technology among other disciplines. We strongly advocate for knowledge for all and consequently, we envision a world where information especially that related to digital skills is accessible and affordable to prompt innovation, create employment opportunities, and improve digital skill development, especially in marginalized communities in Europe.
Our pledge
Accordingly, through our digital skills for the future pledge, we hope to achieve the following.
- Provide students with FREE access to the following courses, which are hosted on teachsomebody.com.
- All students will be provided with a certificate upon completion: Programming Thinking Microsoft SQL Server Development for Everyone! - Equip students with the digital skills they will need to: Boost problem solving and reasoning skills Automate repetitive tasks Become a Database Developer and/or Administrator Build and Host Web Applications Learn Amazon Web Services: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3
- Learn the skills to undertake a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Sharpen their competitive edge by harnessing creativity and innovation in the work environment.
