Palestre Digitali
Our pledge
Palestre Digitali, launched in 2012 by Accenture Italy Corporate Citizenship with a local NGO for women empowerment, aims to enhance the employment opportunities of Italian young graduates in humanities by redirecting their skills towards high-potential areas in digital marketing. This project was born with the idea to help graduates facing challenges in finding a job, by up-skilling them on high potential areas requested by the Labour market.
The program, held three times a year, targets graduates and undergraduates mainly in humanities and socio-economic subjects, selecting 50 students per edition and it’s totally free.
It includes 130 hours of virtual lessons by industry professionals, 20 hours of digital learning, and 40 hours of practical project works commissioned by companies, covering both transversal and vertical skills.
The project development process starts with a call for proposals, followed by CV screening, assessments, and interviews conducted with HR partners, culminating in selecting the top 50 students. Past projects have included developing customer engagement strategies, communication plans for tech accelerators, digital strategy for retail outlets, and feasibility studies for metaverse presence.
The program has involved around 1600 students, completed over 200 projects, and maintained a 4/5 satisfaction index. With a high placement rate, 75% of students secure internships or jobs within three months of completing the program, and 85% are employed six months after graduation.
The initiative has seen collaboration from over 150 companies, with common job roles for graduates including UX designer, HR specialist, copywriter, PR specialist, creative account, strategic planner, project manager, community manager, and digital specialist.
Companies and universities actively support the program through teaching, project work, and promoting the initiative, contributing to its goal of equipping young talents with essential digital marketing skills and enhancing their employability.
