The Portuguese National Cybersecurity Centre (CNCS) is committed to assuring that Portuguese citizens and organizations are granted a free, reliable and secure condition of cyberspace, by leveraging national cybersecurity, and national and international cooperation. What is C-Academy?

  • C-Academy is an innovative cybersecurity training program created by the National Cybersecurity Center as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, aiming to benefit both the public and private sectors.
  • Its core objective revolves around the qualification and requalification of human resources, perfectly aligned with the Cybersecurity Skills Framework and the National Cybersecurity Framework.

C-Academy is not merely a training initiative but a testament to collaboration by engaging with Digital Innovation Hubs, fostering a holistic approach to cybersecurity education. The ambitious goal is to train no fewer than 9,800 participants by the first quarter of 2026, employing a flexible approach through various online, in-person, or hybrid courses, tailored to diverse skill levels.

C-Academy and Portugal's digital future 

The program boasts an extensive curriculum, featuring around 44 courses, with each session hosting groups of 20 to 35 participants. It's not just about disseminating knowledge; C-Academy serves as a hub for resilience and sustainability, addressing both immediate and future challenges in the cybersecurity landscape. With a primary focus on inclusivity, the primary audience of C-Academy includes the Public Administration, custodians of critical infrastructures, stewards of essential services, and innovators in the digital service realm. This initiative encapsulates a comprehensive approach to navigating the ever-evolving cybersecurity terrain in Portugal. C-Academy plans a  transformative journey where knowledge meets preparedness, shaping a secure and resilient digital future.
