PIPERS Project Career Kit

The aim of the PIPERS Project Career Kit, located within the EURAXESS database, is to support the mobility of researchers, trainers, and people responsible for training researchers, and enhance opportunities for personal and professional development. In addition, a variety of external resources are aimed at researchers in order to foster 21st century skills for the education sector.
The external resources in the database come in different formats, such as training material, links and information on online career activities, conferences and webinars, articles, case studies and presentations. Topics include entrepreneurial skills, information literacy, interdisciplinary working, intellectual property rights (IPR), leadership skills, and many others.
Aspiring researchers can find information and tips on how to manage a research career and what opportunities for professional development exist in the sector. Self-assessment tools, tailored for researchers, are also available through the PIPERS Project Career Kit, offering an opportunity to entry-level researchers to test their knowledge and identify areas for further improvement. In addition, information on the differences when it comes to working with industry and academia in a research context, as well as tips on market exploitation of research results.
Through a holistic approach, the toolkit offers several sections to assist European researchers in their careers, valuable across academia and industry, with a special focus on supporting workers employed in the education and research sectors.
