Building Financial and Digital Skills

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) wants to help people with developmental disabilities live their best lives safely in their community. The online workshop aims to guide young people with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them, to understand how to move into the adult world with the skills to be financially independent and make decisions that are best for them.

About the workshop

This workshop teaches participants how to become financially independent and make good decisions. It covers topics like managing money and using digital tools effectively. The training includes both spoken and visual lessons, along with activities to practice these skills independently.


The workshop will be held on Zoom, and there are five chances to join in:

  • 23 April  16:00 – 17:00 (CET)
  • 30 April 17:00 – 18:00 (CET)
  • 2 May 12:00 – 13:00 (CET)
  • 7 May 17:00 –18:00 (CET)
  • 9 May 12:00 – 13:00 (CET)
