EB Camp 2023

In 2023, #ebcamp will continue to focus on digitalisation in adult learning. The event held annually at the Federal Institute for Adult Education (Bifeb) in St Wolfgang or online is organised by the KEBÖ together with the Bifeb. ARGE Bildunghaus Österreich and WerdeDigital will also participate in the organisation of the event.

#ebcamp is aimed at adult educators and interested parties and offers two days the opportunity to broaden their own field of action and knowledge on digitalisation, discover practical examples, connect and share.  The aim is to critically address the challenges of digitalisation in adult learning.

The event will take the form of a barcamp. This means that there are no defined speakers and no workshops with prepared topics. Instead, the format is based on discussions, presentations and interactions of the participants, who thus become ‘participants’. At the beginning of each day, the topics will be determined by a vote of the participants. These issues are then developed and discussed in breakout rooms. The format allows flexibility and room for improvisation. Additional topics can also be opened spontaneously. 

#ebcamp is accredited with 0.5 ECTS credits by the wba and is recognised for the wba certificate in the field of media literacy. Participation to the event is free of charge.
