On 23 April 2024, the Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) published a Call for Tenders with an estimated budget of 8 million euros to maintain and improve the European Digital Skills & Jobs Platform under the Digital Europe Programe (DEP). The tender aims to enhance the platform's functionality through technical maintenance, content creation, and user-friendly design.

Key objectives of the tender include strengthening the platform's operation, fostering collaboration among national digital skills coalitions, and facilitating exchanges between these coalitions and the Platform. Activities will focus on:

  • Technical maintenance of the existing web application.
  • Creating content tailored to European digital skills needs and raising awareness about the digital skills gap.
  • Ensuring a user-centric, accessible, and data-protected platform design.
  • Supporting national coalitions with content, planning, and technical assistance.
  • Increasing the involvement of national coalitions and growing the platform's membership base.
  • Organizing webinars and workshops to promote collaboration and best practices.
  • Developing a communication plan to reach new audiences and engage stakeholders.

The Platform will provide services such as updating the European digital skills repository, offering information on public funding and training opportunities, and connecting users to digital skills policies and strategies at both European and national levels.

The tender aims to address the digital skills gap in the EU effectively and promote a more digitally skilled workforce across Europe, while contributing to reaching EU policy goals.

The submission deadline is 11 June 2024, at 12:00 Europe/Brussels time.

All documents are available in the Funding & Tenders portal (F&T portal).
