Prospective master's students
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) in: Healthcare, Digital technologies, Management, Societal scientific domains or a variety of degrees related to the Digital transformation in Health care. English language proficiency: If English is not their native language, candidates must be able to demonstrate an adequate for the program level of English.
ManagiDiTH is ideal for professionals with diverse educational backgrounds, such as Healthcare, Social and Welfare, ICT, and Business Administration, the program accommodates varying levels of knowledge and experience in specific health domains and ICT proficiency. This program is crafted for those who share a common interest in advancing their understanding of health and social services through digital means.
Main aims
The program will provide graduates with the expertise to plan and support the digitalisation of health services, improve procedures and leverage information and communication technologies for interoperability and efficiency. Graduates will be well-prepared to work in three key areas: preventive, predictive and personalized healthcare, the integration of physical and virtual components for improved access and quality of services and ensuring the security and transparency of health processes. By combining data science, artificial intelligence, interconnectivity and cybersecurity, the program ensures graduates are at the forefront of the digital transformation of the health sector.
Learning outcomes
The curriculum is structured with a modular set of Curricular Units, featuring both compulsory and optional components. This design allows students the flexibility to tailor their educational journey by selecting areas of specialization, with a focus on two domains. The program encompasses three main components: Health sector skills, Societal skills, and Digital skills. Within the Digital skills component, students can choose between two branches—Data Science and Interoperability—based on their interests and background profiles.
The program spans three semesters, totalling 90 ECTS, and is a collaborative effort involving three universities: ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
