Microcredential in technologie transfer and business creation - DigiAdvance
Technologie Transfer and Business Creation is a DigiAdvance course developed by University of Aveiro. DigiAdvance aims to address digital skills gaps in the SME sector through the provision of low-cost, demand-driven, tailored training in key digital technologies for SME owners, managers and employees. This course is one of a number of flexible short-form courses offered by this project, which is co-funded by the EU.
Learning outcomes
- Understand the importance of technology transfer in the current context of innovation and technological development.
- Identify and describe the roles and responsibilities of the different stakeholders in the technology transfer process, including inventors, investors, technology transfer managers, and end-users.
- Analyze the dynamics of collaboration and potential conflicts among the various participants in the technology transfer process.
- Map the flow of the technology transfer process from research to commercialization, particularly the creation of a new company.
- Discuss the key stages and best practices at each phase of the technology transfer process.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative assessment methods to determine the commercial and strategic value of a technology.
- Analyze market scenarios and financial projections to support the evaluation of emerging technologies.
DigiAdvance courses aim to advance the knowledge and skills of SME leaders, managers, employees and job seekers in key digital technologies. This course assessment is Blended and at daytime or after work. Participants receive a certificate of achievement at the end of the course. At the moment, there are no active application phase.
