Tokenization with Example Applications in Food Supply Chain (TRUST-FOOD)

"Tokenization with Example Applications in Food Supply Chain" is a course developed in the context of the TRUST-FOOD project, a Digital Europe project that designs and delivers short-term training courses for upskilling and reskilling of the labour force, with a particular focus on SMEs owners, managers, and employees in the food supply chain sector.
The course offers a good overview of the main principles behind tokenization, zooming in on the food supply chain sector in particular. It goes through blockchain's benefits and touches upon a variety of real-world applications and use cases to support skills development.
Why this course?
Digital assets and tokens are 2 terms often used in any discussion that touches upon blockchain. These are items of value that only exist digitally: examples include cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and NFTs. They can also include tokenized versions of assets, including real things like art or concert tickets.
This course dives into digital assets and tokenization to give a good overview of real-word blockchain applications in the food supply chain sector, including benefits and challenges for non-technical people, including academics and researchers, food supply chain managers and leading professionals, HR professionals and others.
