Youth eAcademy
The Youth eAcademy offers young job seekers, registered with ADEM (Agence pour le développement de l'emploi), the opportunity to independently strengthen their digital skills that they find useful for the realization of their professional projects and goals, without any cost. Mastering these skills is indeed necessary nowadays when looking for a job, in every sector and in every company.
ADEM therefore allows these young people under 30 to benefit from free access to the "Belearn" e-learning platform. On this platform, candidates have the choice to follow digital training in Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, etc. or to broaden their knowledge on topics such as the Cloud computing, data analysis, programming or cybersecurity. These training courses are available in French, English, German, Dutch or Spanish.
The access to the platform is based on several criteria:
- be registered with ADEM and be under 30 at the time of registration;
- have at least a secondary school diploma (equivalent to BAC)
- be able to follow e-learning training (computer and internet access, basic digital skills) independently (without supervision).
For each course completed, candidates obtain an official certificate by email.
The administrative platform MyGuichet can also be used to register as a jobseeker with ADEM. This online registration simplifies and speeds up the procedure and can be done 24/24. In addition to the online procedure via MyGuichet, registration with ADEM is still also possible by telephone. While jobseekers can do the online registration completely independently, they have to make an appointment with ADEM for the registration by telephone
