National Coalitions

The Czech National  Coalition for Digital Skills and Jobs is a common platform of  the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. As such, one major focus of the Coalition is on education as the necessary base for the development of digital skills across society. National and regional representatives of academia, education sectors, industry, the public service, the not-for-profit sector are invited to participate with valuable contributions to ensure that the country joins in the European effort to leverage the rewards of digitisation.

NC priorities

The Czech National Coalition for Digital Skills and Jobs main goal is to support the development of digital literacy of citizens of Czechia. The major focus is on digital education. The priorities include: 

  • Connecting schools and the information technology (IT) world. 
  • Inspiring schools and companies for cooperation. 
  • Supporting the dialogue among the major stakeholders in digital education. 
NC partners

The Czech National Coalition for Digital Skills and Jobs is an open platform of representatives of public institutions, private companies, information and communication technology (ICT) sector, educational institutions, academic assemblies, non-profit organisations, statutory authorities of schools, and other entities. It is currently uniting 240 members.

The founding Members of the Czech National Coalition for Digital Skills and Jobs are the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Czechia, the Government‘s office (represented by the Czech Republic’s Digital Agenda Coordinator), the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the ICT sector (represented by the Czech ICT Alliance).
