Operazione Risorgimento Digitale
Background
Operazione Risorgimento Digitale (ORD) is a digital education program designed to increase and disseminate digital skills with the aim of accelerating the digital transformation of Italy and promoting social inclusion. One of the main activities of the original program has been the provision of mobile schools crossing the entire Italian territory to assist citizens in using the Internet.

During the pandemic, the ORD has been renewed to a multi-target, multi platform program, offering several online training paths, for Public Administration, businesses, SMEs, citizens, schools, consumers and migrants, aimed at providing them with the basic digital skills to support them in their approach with Internet: surfing the web in safety; accessing public digital services such as SPID, Electronic Health Record, Secure digital payments (PagoPA); using cloud computing software, accessing e-commerce platforms, and collaboration systems. Another point of action is the Certified Digital Skills course, based on the EU DigComp 2.1 framework, available for SMEs employees.
Our initiatives
- The project also offers webinars and e-learning training for public servants divided into four modules:
- digital transformation,
- digitalizing legal documents,
- the digital rights and
- the challenges of future (eg accessing open data).
- The training programme “New Digital Teachers - Integrated teaching for open schools”, based on the learning platform WeSchool powered by TIM, will help teachers in improving the use of digital tools in their lessons, by the application of the “Guidelines for integrated digital teaching”, issued by Ministry of Education to make digital teaching even more engaging and effective for distance and classroom learning.
- TIM launched also free webinars with the support of the Consumer Protection Associations to educate consumers on the safe use of the Internet in order to prevent online risks. The webinars cover activities from the correct use of digital tools for managing money to online purchases and new ways of accessing information, products and services.
