Advancing Digital Empowerment of Libraries in Europe tool launch event
The Advancing Digital Empowerment of Libraries in Europe (ADELE) project is based on the observation that digital technologies have profoundly changed both the professional and educational landscapes. With this change, the adult education sector is now exploring new roles, methods, and services in lifelong learning to better reach learners and make their services more user-friendly. To help with this, the ADELE project is developing a free, customisable web-based tool that aims to help adult education organisations reflect on how they use and how they can better integrate digital technologies to improve their services. This tool is based on the SELFIE tool for schools developed by the European Commission and aims to help non-formal adult education organisations be forward thinking in how digital technology can be integrated in their work.
To mark the launch of the ADELE tool, an event at the Muntpunt Library in Brussels will be organised. This event will dive into the tool, have experts present the importance of digital strategies for non-formal adult education and the relevant digital skills for adult education providers. Alongside this, participants will be able to attend an interactive session focused on digital strategies.
Registration is required for this event.
