The European Commission Representation in Malta, with the support of the eSkills Malta Foundation, organises on 28 and 29 May a Hackathon, the first in a series of events aiming to bring digital skills to all sectors of society. In this Hackathon, they are focusing especially on students between 12 and 15 years of age, particularly those considering choosing computer studies as an option at school or those who already study computing and want to learn more! Teachers, hobbyists and enthusiasts are also invited.
Special guests of the event are the game design students from the Taitotalo Institute in Finland, who will be helping students understand more about how game design and programming are related.
Enthusiastic students 9+ are welcome to attend as long as they are accompanied at all times by a parent. Hobbyists and adults are always welcome.
