Microsoft: Free training and certification in AI skills in Greece

A new skill learning initiative that combines the use of Microsoft’s digital educational tools and ReGeneration’s expertise. The Regeneration Initiative: AI 360° School powered by Microsoft" will serve as a “school”, which will provide beneficiaries with cutting-edge knowledge and practical familiarity with the potential of artificial intelligence.  

• Thousands (1000) beneficiaries from across the country will significantly improve their job prospects in technology, with the free training and certification in the use of artificial intelligence that they will receive from Microsoft as part of The ReGeneration Initiative: AI 360° School powered by Microsoft.
• The programme is aimed at young people and young people in the labour market but, for the first time, also at people up to 55 years old. 
• The Regeneration Initiative: AI 360° School powered by Microsoft", is the largest free AI-learning initiative and comes to respond to the market needs for talents that can practically apply artificial intelligence to solve everyday business problems.

The training program consists of three (3) directions (Learning Paths):

1. Non-STEM Path: It is aimed mainly at people with studies outside STEM (i.e. schools outside the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). By choosing this Learning Path, participants will become familiar with key concepts and use cases in cutting-edge technologies: AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Mechanical Learning) & Generative AI (Genetic Artificial Intelligence), as well as with basic processes and tools for machine learning.
2. STEM Path: It is aimed primarily at individuals with studies in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields and who are familiar with Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Learning. By choosing this Learning Path, participants will explore concepts and use cases in AI, ML and Generative AI and acquire skills to be able to design and effectively implement ML models for various applications.
3. CS Path: It is aimed primarily at people with studies in Computer Science, and who can understand the basic functions of AI and ML. By choosing this Learning Path, participants will delve into AI, ML and Generative AI concepts and tools and acquire the knowledge and skills needed to leverage Python, Workspaces and related tools so that they can effectively train and optimise artificial intelligence models.

The training will take place online through Microsoft Teams with the active participation of qualified teachers, thus giving equal opportunities to people from the Region. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Successful Education from Code.Hub. At the same time they will have the opportunity to add to their CV a “Microsoft AI” certificate.
