Funding

With the Digi-Winner, the Vienna Chamber of Labour, together with the Vienna Employee Employees, is promoting the acquisition of skills for the digital world of work. The funding is targeted at workers, but jobseekers can also apply for funding. The applicant’s place of residence may be in Vienna or in another Land, but membership of the Vienna Chamber of Labour is absolutely necessary. The Digi-Winner is part of the futureAK extraprogramme, which runs from 2019 to 2023.

Training courses in the field of digitalisation, if recognised by the weapon, will be supported, including courses in universities of applied sciences and universities.

Up to EUR 5000 can be funded for education and training, with the amount of support being based on income:

  • 80 % for income up to EUR 1500 net
  • 60 % for net income between EUR 1500 and EUR 2000
  • 20 % for net income between EUR 2000 and EUR 2500,

Applications for funding for AK-Vienna members residing in Vienna may be submitted to the weapon. For AK-Vienna members residing in another Land, the application must be submitted to the Vienna Chamber of Labour – in both cases before the start of the course. The Digi-Winner will be paid after the successful completion of the course.
