Discover the program
The programme begins with the necessary theoretical and practical foundations in the subject of media technology. For example, you will learn how to create and edit digital media, design interactivity and develop modern websites with the needs of users in focus.
In the second year, you choose a specialisation: interactive media or web technologies. If you choose interactive media, you study areas such as image processing, graphical user interfaces, video production and 3D graphics. If you instead focus on web technologies, you will immerse yourself in web programming, database design and mobile development. In joint courses, you will gain experience of carrying out larger interactive projects and collaborating with others based on your future professional role.
In the third year, you will learn more about scientific methods and have the opportunity to apply your knowledge at a company. Now you can also immerse yourself in current research, choose courses based on your own interests and write your final degree project.
Teaching takes place in Swedish and at campus Växjö. The training takes place daytime and full speed 100 %.
Career
After the programme, depending on the specialisation you have chosen, you can work with digital media in different ways: plan, design, create, edit, program, produce and distribute multimedia productions, interactive systems, web solutions and mobile services, all based on the users' needs.
