Tech Time 2 Skills - Advanced digital skills in AI

Tech Time 2 Skill’s main goal is to encourage the acquisition of AI skills by the European labour force by piloting and deploying training programmes focusing on the most in-demand advanced digital skills in AI. The project targets SMEs staff (leaders, managers and high skilled workers) as well as job seekers, in order to foster EU’s digital talent pools, thus supporting the digital transformation of European SMEs in a sustainable manner.
The training programme on AI consists of three levels that are entirely free of charge for trainees.
The acculturation programme (8-hour courses) provides SMEs leaders with a strong understanding of AI's potential and business opportunities.
The intensive training (35-hour courses), focused on AI, empowers SMEs high skilled workers to develop AI solutions and create prototypes.
Lastly, specialisation bootcamps (3 to 6 months), focused on AI, target the building of applications using AI into existing systems.
This project aims to engage all workforce members in the acceleration of the EU digital capacities.
Using active pedagogy in the training programmes enhances trainees’ ability to grasp and relate to their future roles and responsibilities more effectively. This enables trainers to remain adaptable and attuned to the needs of the workforces in their daily activities, allowing the consortium to innovate quickly and keep pace with advancing technologies. This innovative teaching method is a significant strength of the consortium, co-led by Simplon and BeCode which includes six partners: Simplon.co (France), Factoria F5 (Spain), PIMEC (Spain), Agoria (Belgium), and Agence du Numérique (Belgium), along with the industry leader Microsoft as an associated partner. Through this collaborative effort, Tech Time 2 Skill aims to empower the European workforce, ensuring it is well-equipped to meet the challenges of an increasingly digital economy.
