Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Master's degree in Data Science

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) is offering an interdisciplinary Master's programme focusing on the essential pillars of data science: data management and data analytics. This programme provides a holistic view of the field and covers cross-disciplinary topics including ethics and entrepreneurship. Graduates of this programme will be highly qualified professionals and highly in demand in both academia and industry. 

This programme also seeks to foster the exchange of information to boost education, research and innovation which are critical to data science. This programme is a two-year programme, is taught entirely in English, and covers 120 ECTS. This is an in-person programme with a limited number of admissions (maximum 40 students).

Requirements

As this degree is taught entirely in English students must certify a B2 level (CEFR) of English or equivalent. Holders of Bachelor's degrees in Informatics Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Telecommunications Science and Technology, Telecommunications technologies and Services Engineering or Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications, Civil Engineering or Industrial Technology Engineering or Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering will be considered for direct admission. Holders of Bachelor's degrees in Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence or Data Science and Engineering will be considered for admission as well.
